On 15^th September 2023, Bureau of Laboratory Accreditation (BLA-DSS) arranged the training program “General Requirement of ISO/IEC 17011: 2017 – Conformity assessment: Requirements for accreditation bodies accrediting conformity assessment bodies”. Over 30 BLA-DSS staff participated in the training which was held in the room 519, fifth floor, Analytical Chemist Laboratory Building, Department of Science Service (DSS) was carried on by Mrs. Pataporn Tanapavarit, a head of Accreditation Service Group 1. In this regards, Mrs. Pataporn Tanapavarit delivered the body of comprehensive knowledges and her experiences on the issues of interest. This program was designed to enhance staff’ knowledge, comprehension and day-by-day operation’ performance according to ISO/IEC 17011: 2017 - Conformity assessment: Requirements for accreditation bodies accrediting conformity assessment bodies. In fact, this training was salient in a sense of promoting staff’ competency , with ultimate aim to support and facilitate organizational-level data management and the system as well as, daily activities related to operations of the accreditation bodies. Furthermore, the program could assist in improvement of the reliability of the service generally provided BLA-DSS and ensure that the services and staff’ performance is aligned and fulfil the organizational mission and responsibilities.
