A non-profit organization supported by the government. The expenses related to accreditation activities for laboratories are funded by the national budget. All income generated is considered government revenue and must be remitted to the Ministry of Finance in accordance with the law.
Bureau of Laboratory Accreditation (BLA)
Provides accreditation services for testing laboratories in both public and private sectors in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025, accreditation of proficiency testing providers according to ISO/IEC 17043, and accreditation of reference material producers in accordance with ISO 17034.
