“Method Validation” seminar to enhance competence of laboratory accreditation.

          On March 4, 2024, the Bureau of Laboratory Accreditation, Department of Science Service (BLA-DSS) provided a virtual seminar “Method Validation” to relevant BLA personnel, assessors and other relevant stakeholders, with a use of Zoom Conference Application. The BLA Director, Mrs. Chantarat Vorasapavit, reported the rationale and objectives of the seminar to the General Director, Dr. Rungrueng Kitphati. Mrs. Chantarat Vorasapavit  said that this seminar was to enhance  knowledge of method validation and that enable attendees to integrate the knowledge into daily operations, with more effective and correct manners.

          The General Director, Dr. Rungrueng Kitphati, announced that method validation is  in accordance with Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation policy-advance science, research and innovation in order to address the needs of community and strive for sustainability. This is seen as an opportunity of improving personnel skill and maximizing potential to be ready for real-world marketplace competition and preserving the quality of service and wellbeing, with sustainable approach. In addition to this, validation of method is an important process enhancing capacity to yield scientific, research and innovative service, with metrological traceability and uncertainty allowing international- and national-level recognition. Confidence has been established and the safety and qualiy of the product were assured to customers. All in all, this seminar supports high-level quality of life and sustainable development at holistic dimensions. More than 200 people attended the seminar.
